1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website operated by Anders Skincare LLC ("Anders," "we," "us"). By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Products and orders
The Body Exfoliating Mitt is available to order on this site. Its product page shows the item price and one- or two-mitt offer. Available delivery options, applicable taxes and the order total are shown at checkout before you place an order. A cart alone is not an order; you place an order by completing checkout. Our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy explain the delivery and refund terms for orders on this site.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use this site or to submit your email address to us.
4. The free guide and email
If you enter your email address and tick the consent box, you are asking us to send you the free simple routine guide and occasional emails from Anders. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send. We describe what we collect and how we handle it in our Privacy Policy, which governs personal information and controls over these Terms where the two conflict on that subject.
The guide is free. We do not sell your email address.
5. Educational content only — not medical advice
Everything published on this site is general education about skincare and ingredient categories. It is not medical advice, not a diagnosis, not a treatment recommendation, and not a substitute for care from a licensed professional. Nothing here is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.
Skin varies from person to person. General information cannot account for your circumstances. If you have a persistent, painful, worsening, or severe skin concern, please consult a dermatologist, physician, or licensed esthetician rather than relying on anything you read here.
Where a founder describes personal experience, that is one person's account of their own skin. It is not a claim about what will happen to yours.
6. Accuracy and changes
We try to keep the site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is free of errors or omissions. We may change, suspend, or remove any part of the site, including any content or the free guide, at any time and without notice.
7. Intellectual property
The site and its content — text, graphics, layout, the Anders name and marks, and the free guide — are owned by Anders Skincare LLC or used with permission, and are protected by intellectual property law. You may read, share links to, and personally use this content. You may not copy, republish, sell, or redistribute it commercially without our written permission.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the site to break the law, to interfere with or disrupt the site or its security, to access it by automated means in a way that burdens our infrastructure, to submit someone else's personal information without their permission, or to submit false or deliberately misleading information through any form.
9. Third-party links and services
The site may link to third-party websites, and it runs on infrastructure and services operated by third parties, including Shopify. We do not control those parties and are not responsible for their content, practices, or policies. Their terms and privacy policies govern your use of their services.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The site and the free guide are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anders Skincare LLC and its members, officers, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the site or the free guide, whether based in contract, tort, or any other theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the site or these Terms will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Anders Skincare LLC from any claim, demand, loss, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your misuse of the site or your breach of these Terms.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date below and post the revised Terms on this page. Your continued use of the site after the revised Terms are posted means you accept them.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You and Anders agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
15. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Anders regarding the site.
